Time Remapping in Adobe Premiere Pro is much easier than any other software available. Here I'm showing you, how to remap a video sequence according to time in Adobe Premiere Pro CC, the latest version. You can do this with the version available in your system.
Before starting, I hope you've basic knowledge on what does this 'Time Remapping' actually mean! If not, I'll explain it for you, a bit. Time Remapping can otherwise said to be 'creating
fast/slow motion'. The process we are doing is making the movement of frames faster or slower by changing the timing. That's why it is usually called
Time Remapping.
Step 1
OK. Let's start by
opening a new Adobe Premiere Pro project and creating new sequence.

New Project window |
Step 2
Import the footage in which you want to remap time.
 |

Step 3
Expand the width of the sequence to see better.

Expand the width |
Step 4
Now, Right Click on the sequence and choose
Show Clip Keyframes →
Time Remapping →
Speed.
 |
Choose Show Clip Keyframes → Time Remapping → Speed |
You'll able to see a yellow line horizontally passing through the middle of the sequence.
 |
Time Remapping window |
Step 5
Choose the part of the sequence in which you want to remap the time. Hold the
Ctrl Key (you'll be able to see a '+' sign one the pointer) and click on both sides of the yellow line (on
Mark In and
Mark Out).
 |
A part of the sequence is selected |
Step 5A
Now, if you move the pointer upwards as shown in the picture, fast motion will be created for the selected part.

Step 5B
And if you move the pointed downwards as shown below, slow motion will be created.

That's all. When you're finished, save project and render the video in your desired output.
